Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make an IMPACT!

  • Performs welding and fitting skills in the repair of barges and vessels
  • Assists with construction / repair of special projects
  • Assists in performing preventative and routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Assists in performing safety audits / inspections of work area.
  • Cutout and replaces sections of damaged steel
  • Gouge, weld fractures, fit formed plates and structural's
  • Conducts confined space atmospheric tests
  • Participation in all safety meetings.

Job Qualifications - What You Will Bring to the ACBL Team

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be enrolled at Welding trade school
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to weld with stick fed welders
  • Ability to perform job tasks as assigned by foreman / supervisor.
