Qual Compliance & Continuous Improv Mgr

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role as Quality Compliance & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead and coordinate quality, stewardship compliance, and continuous improvement processes/programs, including but not limited to, implementation of Production System (OnePSS) principles. You will implement and sustain these programs across the site achieving operational efficiency and maintaining license to operate through continuous improvements using quality management and Lean practices.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Quality Compliance & Continuous Improvement Manager, are to:

  • Develop strong quality, compliance, and continuous improvement culture;
  • Develop, analyze, and report on site key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to quality, stewardship compliance and continuous improvement in a shared tracking system;
  • Supervise processes related to product quality in cooperation with management and other stakeholders including but not limited to Quality & Compliance Assurance and Control teams;
  • Direct, train and assess Site Responsible Researchers (SRRs), Quality technicians, and other personnel as necessary to conduct audits, gain all external certifications and accreditations and assure adherence to quality and compliance policies, processes, and requirements;
  • Influence change in a dynamic work environment using innovative Production System implementation methodology, lean content and change management approach;
  • Ensure both change and risk management requirements and tools are being utilized, advise teams on evaluating process improvements, monitor implementation progress through tracking system to sustain continuous improvement and meet quality standards;
  • Develop network of resources across sites, crops, and functions, sharing best practices and creating value for the business;
  • Develop Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Lean principles and promote continuous improvement;
  • Position entails driving a company vehicle (pooled or assigned to the individual). This may include being required to drive greater than 5,000 business miles annually in a personal, pooled, or rented vehicle OR being expected to frequently drive a pooled car as part of your job duties - regardless of mileage.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Ability to lead and work cohesively as a team member; interacting and building positive working relationships within the organization and across other functional groups and departments;
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly present information and influence others through oral/written communications & work with people/teams to build high morale & commitment to goals;
  • Capability to recognize when there is a need for change and act as a change agent to develop novel solutions to problems;
  • Skilled at leading, influencing, managing conflict, and negotiating with cross functional teams;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Valid Driver's License. In order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening;
  • Availability to meet overtime demands, including occasional work on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Seven years of work-related experience or equivalent skill set.

Domestic relocation assistance may be offered for this role.
