Job Description

Albemarle is seeking an SAP support Business Systems Analyst to join the Source-to-Pay (STP) Information Technology team. In this role, the analysts' primary responsibilities will be day-to-day issue resolution and in time/quality delivery of improvement ideas. The analyst will also represent STP as a team member in support-related projects.

Primary support activities include:

• Work with our AMS support team to evaluate and drive incidents to closure.
• Support closure of ageing incidents
• Keep incident counts below defined average threshold
• Develop KBA's for frequently occurring incidents; monitor and update existing KBA's.
• Review requirements for SAP and STP satellite system change requests and assess cross functional impacts.
• Coordinate resource requirements with security and tech teams for SAP change requests.
• Prepare or review functional specifications and provide effort estimates
• Perform unit testing
• Create quick reference guides / testing procedures to support UAT execution.
• Coordinate data creation and UAT preparations
• Support super users during UAT execution and drive defect resolution
• Support super users with the creation of our test case library for all new functionality
• Support Quarterly SOX Audit documentation and other compliance related activities.

The BSA will be a key team member for projects, including but not limited to:

• SAP S/4 Upgrades
• New company code projects
• New Plants
• Any upgrades required for our external applications (Ariba CIG, Concur, etc).

Demonstrated Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in IT support and configuration for one of the SAP Modules:
  • SAP MM-PUR
  • SAP FI-AP
  • VIM/OpenText
• Writing functional specifications
• Coordinating Testing
• Understand SDLC and SAP Sourcing and Procurement or FI-AP best practices

Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated knowledge of the following systems:
  • SAP Configuration in Sourcing and Procurement, FI-AP or VIM
  • Ariba Upstream
  • Ariba Downstream
  • Ariba Catalog and Supplier Enablement
  • Cloud Integration Gateway
  • Concur
  • Solution Manager Business Process Documentation and Test Suite
• Integration of SAP with external systems
• ABAP Code Analysis (basic knowledge)
