What you will be responsible for:

Proven experience working as a Business Analyst and/or Technical Architect in an automation or digital transformation program. Provides technical expertise in areas including business process improvement, automation solution design, and process risk mitigation.

Hands on development and configuration of new RPA processes and objects using design principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand using AutomationAnywhere, Xceptor, Datarobot & other cloud based AI/ML tools and technologies

Experience performing detailed requirements gathering and analysis of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide guidance on how to leverage automation technologies to streamline their operations

Help enable and scale the MFS Citizen Developer program.

DESCRIPTION:

  • Performs analysis of business activities to determine business requirements. Works with business groups and product owners to understand and define needs. Converts business requirements into functional specifications. Works closely with the project team members, business users, developers, QAs and other technology professionals in an Agile environment to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

  • Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Intelligent Automation CoE organization to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Communicates any material modifications of business requirements to business stakeholders.

  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

  • Works to ensure a positive end-product for business stakeholders by overseeing the implementation of new process automations. Creates and maintains proper training materials and business documentation.

  • Provides application and production support as needed to the as part of the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence.

  • Translates business requirements into technical functional specifications for the development of new applications, processes or functionality. Solves complex programming challenges. Leads team members in implementation of system solutions.

  • Follow the MFS Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that all steps of the process have been followed prior to releasing any code.

  • Provides input into the strategic planning of the department's initiatives and resources.

  • Mentors and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business or technology related field.
  • 5-6+ years' experience in the financial services industry, supporting buy-side technology.
  • Strong technical skills including a solid understanding of underlying relevant technical architecture and business processes.
  • Proven ability to efficiently utilize resources and communicate with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Project management skills, proven analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.
  • An in-depth understanding of Agile framework and systems development lifecycle. Ability to perform detailed analysis on these systems at all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future state business environment.
  • proven ability to develop creative, innovative solutions to meet business needs.
