ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This position will be responsible for performing electrical work for the installation of back-up generators and transfer switches. Additional duties include troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of generator and transfer switches. The position is also responsible for maintaining stock of tools and materials needed to perform the work.

Other Duties as assigned and the following: Performing generator PM's. Order and maintain appropriate levels of parts and materials to perform the jobs. Organize the warehouse and company vehicle with respect to the electrical work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School diploma or GED
Experience:
1-2 years as a licensed electrician in the state of California.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associates degree in electronics or similar major
Experience:
5-7 years as a licensed electrician in the state of California.
2-3 years' experience with generators and transfer switches.
1-2 years' experience with main panel upgrades.
1-2 years' experience with solar or battery installations.
1-2 years' experience with small engine repair or maintenance.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read one-line drawings and schematics.
Ability to read/ write and understand instructions provided in English.
Understand and be able to perform electrical troubleshooting.
Valid Driver License required.
Customer relationship skills are important.
LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE:
This position acts under the direction of the VP Sales for the GSPS Division
COMPENSATION:
Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role based in Concord, CA is $29.05- $43.30. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
