Job Description
Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.  

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Food and Beverage Coordinator to join our team.

This position will perform a variety of administrative functions to assist with the daily operations of the Executive Chef’s Office and the Events Department.  This position will serve as a liaison with other departments, assist with the preparation and maintenance of various reports and documents, and create signage, among other things.
 
Essential Functions
  • Perform administrative duties to support kitchen management including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating interviews and tastings
  • Compose, prepare and distribute professional letters, memos, e-mails and menus
  • Answer inquiries and provide information to departmental visitors and callers
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes, email, and Banquet Event Orders, (BEO’s)
  • Produce department specific reports as needed
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies and maintaining filing systems
  • Serve as administrative liaison with other operational departments and vendors
  • Prepare agendas and presentations for meetings as required
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience required – Food and Beverage or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work on several things simultaneously in a fast paced environment
