Your next career move:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager II who will be responsible for leading small and medium sized capital projects to successful completion. The role includes managing diverse capital projects, such as equipment and capacity upgrades, facility renovations, and infrastructure upgrades to support the growth of the company. This position is responsible for effective project management of all major project phases from initiation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning through qualification and final release. Project execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence in addition to complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes. This role requires excellent internal and external collaboration skills and the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full lifecycle project management including scope development, detailed engineering, execution, commissioning, qualification and close out.
  • Support Laboratory & Manufacturing departments in the implementation of new equipment for laboratories, biologics fermentation & purification, aseptic manufacturing and packaging.
  • Partner and manage projects with other groups/functions (Facilities, Engineering, EH&S, Manufacturing, Calibration, Validation, Quality Assurance) through full project life cycle to ensure all systems are designed, constructed, and documented properly.
  • Manages project costs, schedule and scope as it relates to the overall stakeholder requirements
  • Champions project team collaboration. Influences and negotiates with project team members and project stakeholders to gain alignment. Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
  • Coordinates meetings including scheduling, presentation preparation, meeting minute taking and action item tracking
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Embodies Aji Bio-Pharma's cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4 - 8 years project management experience is required
  • Strong organizational skills and comprehensive follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Project
  • Previous experience with Primavera P6 is preferred

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in California is $68,380.48 - $95,732.67

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
