Benesch is hiring a Project Engineer to join our talented Tennessee Design Team! This opportunity has great growth potential within our Transportation group and can be in either our Franklin or Nashville office.

• Working on the design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work
• Contribute to proposal development
• Directly assist Project Managers and Design Leaders
• Manage and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client
• Mentor junior staff

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required
• 4+ years of roadway design experience
• PE in TN or ability to get it through reciprocity
• Experience working with clients such as TDOT and local transportation officials
• Proficient at using MicroStation and Geopak (Open Roads Designer a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
