Your responsibilities Bilstein is seeking a driven, self-motivated student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working at our fast-paced shock absorber plant located in Hamilton, OH. This is an excellent learning opportunity for an individual interested in a future career in manufacturing. Duties & Responsibilities: * Leads assigned project(s) that address a challenge to the organization. * Expands knowledge of the challenge within the industry so internal solution is complete; analyze ways other companies have solved a similar organizational problem. * Gains support of necessary stakeholders to solidify project's success. * Tests reliability and validity of research. * Leads communication of project across all channels of the organization. * Implements ideas and solutions. * Manages roll-out of findings. * Develops sound processes that can be utilized once project is complete. * Contributes to team's initiatives and build strong relationships. * Other responsibilities as assigned by manager. Your profile Required Qualifications: * Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program. * Sophomore status or above. * Major that supports functional area where internship/co-op exists. * Strong academic credentials - minimum 3.0 GPA overall. * Committed to learning and personal development. * Demonstrated strong initiative and drive. * Ability to solve complex problems and think creatively. * Possesses and displays strong verbal and written communication skills. * Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team.
