Job Description
The NPI Quality Technician position supports all quality activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) builds.
  • Support engineering in generating and reviewing End Item Data Packages
  • Assist Engineers in generating and approving AS9102 First Article Inspections to contract and prints
  • Assist in the development of customer specific Quality Plans
  • Participate in manufacturing and production readiness reviews and assist with associated quality actions 
  • Lead purge activities as necessary related to NPI builds
  • Perform program validations and product inspections for NPI builds
  • Enter quality data into ERP system as required
  • Update procedures as necessary related to job function
  • Actively seek out and advise management of ways to continuously improve the quality of the process or methods employed in the day-to-day activities of the position, department, or company, and participate in their implementation
Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent education; AS degree preferred
  • Two years of electronics manufacturing Quality related experience
  • Inspection experience with CCAs and/or electronic assemblies preferred
  • Good working knowledge MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand and interpret drawings at a basic level
  • Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to work with others, and good professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently and organize time effectively
  • Good oral and written communication skills
