POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will lead the garnishments to ensure that all garnishment activities are completed timely and accurately while ensuring high levels of customer service to enable a positive employee experience. The Payroll Supervisor - Garnishments and Projects will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing their team while properly managing workload and driving results. This position requires a courageous leader who consistently demonstrates proactive collaboration, continuous improvement, and a customer-oriented approach.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating and completing activities for various payroll projects across the payroll team, including supporting the Kronos Dimensions project as well as the movement of employees from being paid current to being paid in arrears.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all specific garnishment activities are executed, including deducting wage garnishments according to state laws and regulations; to include, but not limited to, child and spousal support payments, court ordered garnishments, bankruptcies, federal/state ordered levies, and education loans.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership of the Garnishments team including driving results, managing workloads, and ensuring high levels of customer service to drive a positive employee experience.
  • Leads & develops team through frequent check-in's, performance management and career development conversations
  • Proactively collaborates with partners & stakeholders: End-users of payroll services, HRBPs, Finance, RBS, Manila, fellow PEP leaders, etc.
  • Responsible for managing garnishment operations with NBS Manila
  • Monitors, validates, and tracks Service Level Agreements (SLA) in areas of responsibility.
  • Provides support for all mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transitional services agreement (TSA)
  • Supports all internal and external Payroll audits and audit reporting as required.
  • Reviews and approves training documents, QRCs, and Standard Routines for execution of training on area of responsibility. Provides training within area of responsibility for Nestle and Manila
  • Drives additional process improvement projects and other projects as required

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, IT, HR or related field required
  • Experience directly or indirectly leading teams required
  • 1+ years SAP payroll and/or Kronos experience preferred
  • 3+ years payroll experience preferred, various areas of payroll experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local garnishments and wage payment laws preferred
