The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an undergraduate student for a summer internship in the IT Engineering department. Students majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management. This position is a 40- hour per week Monday- Friday paid position for the 10+ week summer internship program.

What you will do:

You will work with the IT Scheduler Web Reimplementation - Utilizing advanced JavaScript and web design techniques, improve the look, feel, and functionality of an internal website used to schedule IT appointments.

Modernize internal page's look and feel, refactor and clean up code, optimize for mobile devices, further integrate with SharePoint 2013, improve calendar, email handling, and more.

Process Automation - Identification, implementation, or updates to automation of core team processes using C#/.Net, PowerShell, Microsoft Power Platform or ServiceNow.

Office 365 / Microsoft Team - Help team migrate customer content to new Office 365 environment. Help understand what automation technology is needed.

What you will have:

Knowledge and interest in current Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, and Mobile (Android,iOS) based hardware and software systems.

Knowledge of application development processes and programing languages (PowerPlatform, PowerFX, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#/.Net, SQL).

Interest or knowledge in the following fields of study: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, IT Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Management and Information Systems.

Preferred Skills:

Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus.

Desire to be creative.

Pick-up new skills quickly, problem solve, recognize issues, prioritize, respond, and/or escalate appropriately.

Strong oral, written communication, and collaborative skills.

Basic knowledge of business concepts and principles.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of equipment, 50 pounds with assistance from another coworker as needed.
