JOB SUMMARY
The Invoicing Clerk is responsible for providing accurate invoicing for customers by interacting with sales, transportation and warehouse teams to support on time fleet departure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clerical support to Sales team to including copying, filing and faxing; greet visitors
- Answer multi-line phone; answer questions; accurately forward calls
- Enter accurate ship and check orders via Produce Pro; verify completed invoices have signature and stamp
- Prepare cash deposits for cash report
- Maintain cleanliness of sales office
- Assist with training new Crew Members
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six (6) months professional work experience
- Proficiency with computer and MS Office applications
- Available to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends, and overtime when needed
Experience
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Possess excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills and listening skills
Skills
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Be familiar with shipping procedures ]
- Ability to multitask
Minimum Required:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Proficient with 10 key calculator and keyboard
- Able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. while climbing steps (using a hand cart)
- Comfortable handling and counting cash
