Primary Responsibilities

The Civil EIT for our Building Engineering Services program will be responsible for leading engineering assignments related to site development projects including Data Centers, Government and Municipal facilities. .

* Prepare designs and construction documents for civil site, grading, erosion control, utilities, storm drainage, parking and access road for facility upgrades and expansions for existing and "greenfield" projects.

* Prepare engineering estimates and bills of material for engineering designs.

* Participate in civil site inspections collecting data and preparing reports.

* Work independently on projects or with teams on larger projects.

* Make recommendations to develop design options and assist in the preparation of engineering procedures and specifications.

* Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • EIT or the ability to obtain. Candidates hired without their EIT will be called a Site Civil Coordinator and will be expected to obtain EIT for career progression.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in site civil and drainage design.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads.

The expected compensation range for this position is $69,891.00 - $94,559.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
