The Opportunity

The Processor Business Unit (PBU) within Marvell develops cutting-edge SOCs and processors in advanced process nodes for some of the largest companies in the world. We develop silicon solutions for the growing datacenter, enterprise, wireless, and automotive compute markets. As a member of the Post-Silicon Customer Enablement and Validation team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to several areas of product development and validation including functional, electrical, and system stress. Additional contribution opportunities include development of SW, test plans, and utilities to enable customer platforms. The Post-Silicon Customer Enablement and Validation team develops solutions and validates a range of IO interfaces and functions on multi-core ARM processors including DDR5, Ethernet, RFOE, PCIe, USB, eMMC and more.

Job Responsibilities:

Develops C based FW solutions to enable customer configurable memory options.

Integrate and support 3rd party DDR PHY initialization Firmware within Marvell's SDK.

Develop Marvell's diagnostic test and margin assessment tools.

Experience with DDR-PHY and Memory Controllers.

Validate memory controller features on new SOCs.

Support bring-up activities and DDR initialization development for new products.

Provides support for application teams and customers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience.
Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.

Programming Experience in C/C++

Strong background in computer architecture.

Exposure to DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 (LPDDR5 is a plus).

A good understanding of Signal Integrity concepts as it relates to DDR interfaces (Desired)

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
