Resident Project Assistant - Grand Rapids, Brighton or Marquette, Michigan

We have a career opportunity for a Resident Project Assistant. In this position, you will provide office technical support, manage contract administration, and document control for the Construction Services Group and its field personnel.

This position offers the availability to work in our Grand Rapids, Brighton and Marquette, Michigan offices.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • You will be the field and office personnel's central point of contact.
  • You will maintain all aspects of project documentation
  • You will support the Construction team by coordinating meetings, special functions, training
  • You will build and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, and professional societies
  • You will represent Benesch at various industry events as needed
What We Are Looking For:
  • You are a certified MDOT office technician and MDOT Field Manager (required)
  • You have the desire to obtain PWISE, LCP Tracker, and MDOT Prevailing wage training (within 3 months).
  • You have an AAS in Technology or B.S. in Construction Management or related degree curriculum in technical and/or business finance/accounting area of concentration
  • You have experience with MDOT manuals, procedures, forms, wage compliance, PWISE, and specifications
  • You like using computers and know how to use Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • You are organized, like helping and talking to different teams
