THE ROLE:

The Strategist, Business Process role is focused on all aspects of business operations and underlying operational models and processes that support delivery of customer value. The discipline is aligned closely with the organization's product and/or service offerings, its internal governance, policies, and logistics, and the corresponding interactions with clients, partners, and vendors.

Customer Journey Support

  • Visualization of multiple current state business processes relative to customer journey
  • Identification of process complexity, inconsistencies, and constraints

Business Agility

  • Building a library of current state process models will enable business stakeholders to target processes for reengineering and prioritize project initiatives to deliver maximum benefit to the client journey, and overall ROI.

Risk Mitigation

  • Overlaying Risk Controls (RCSA) to business process models provides a visual perspective on coverage and potential gaps, as well as ongoing traceability to Controls and mitigation


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop business process models
  • Partner with technology to enable future process recommendations
  • Partner with key stakeholders to prioritize key areas of development, balancing value and risk
  • Create and maintain ongoing library and governance for key business processes
  • Partnering with business functional leaders to develop ongoing process roadmaps and risk management


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6-8+ years of related experience within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of BPMN 2.0 specification and the ability to produce consistent business process models
  • Experience in conducting current state assessment, gap analysis, and future state process design across the business operating model
  • Recommendations around process efficiencies and roles & responsibilities
  • Ability to dissect strategic vision to guide project initiatives and prioritize to deliver maximum business value
  • Experience in change management, user adoption, and benefits realization of restructured processes
  • Operational Risk mindset and vision to integrate risk controls and mitigation into process design
  • Adept problems solving, issue resolution, and ability to identify creative and impactful process solutions
