Ignite Digital Services has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level Operations Research Analystin Stafford, VA. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is a motivated self-starter with superior listening, effective communication in writing, and organizational skills to support our customers support operations. Join a growing team responsible for providing technical and management consultation for the NIWC Atlantic Expeditionary Department.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to support business case analyses related to top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation, and distribution
Develop and present economic, business case analyses, comparative cost analyses, and evaluate business trends, and other such independent studies or analyses
Generate root cause analysis (RCA), analyze baseline capabilities and alternative technologies and tools, identify risks, and evaluate technology trends in support of independent studies or analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, Physics, or Mathematics
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Minimum ten (10) years of related consulting experience in operations research assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and staff.
Demonstrated experience with simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process.
Demonstrated experience with collection, review, and analysis of large datasets and qualitative information to support senior management and/or executive decision-making
Experience managing remote collaboration, communication, information management, and workflow tools
Demonstrated strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
DoD security clearance
Experience with Agile-Lean methodology to include SAFe and SAFe for Government
Experience with digital engineering, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience supporting DoD / USMC systems acquisition programs
Experience with NIWC Atlantic program and financial management processes and best practices
A proven ability to multi-task, manage time, and organize/plan
Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-oriented approach
$90,000+ to align with education & experience.
