What you will be responsible for:

THE ROLE

Using discretion and judgment, with direction from the Director of Client Reporting, hire, train, and supervise the Publishing Communications team; ensure the timely and accurate completion of sales and marketing materials on a monthly/quarterly basis. Allocates resources to meet productivity goals that allow the department to meet or exceed client and department expectations. Maintain adequate review and supervisory practices to facilitate internal control; develop processes and procedures to successfully mitigate risks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manages Publishing team by prioritizing and allocating work across the group.
  • Collaborates with team members and across departments to understand priorities and timelines. Ability to manage and balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Responsible for overseeing the production and review of accurate performance and characteristic data as it appears in assigned work both in print and on-line materials. Familiarity working with both fully automated, partially automated, and manual production processes.
  • Educate key stakeholders and direct reports about the print production process, regulatory requirements, and related technologies.
  • Ensure regulatory materials and requested marketing pieces are posted and translated into all the required languages in the appropriate timeline required by our offshore and domestic regulators.
  • Reviews procedures, and controls to assist in coordination of efforts for monthly/quarterly reporting.
  • Responsible for overseeing Compliance reviews of assigned materials.
  • Good negotiating skills to help balance conflicting needs of team members and clients.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure timely production, translation, and delivery of printed materials as well as appropriate content.
  • Must work well with others and desire to grow both individually and with the team.
  • Perform other assignments as requested.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent.
  • 5-6+ years' experience in the investment industry
  • Extensive project management experience required; experience in managing people or teams is desirable.
  • Ability to function with a very high degree of independence.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage several large projects at the same time.
  • Strong communications skills required as well as the ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the company and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a focus on prioritization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Team oriented and deadline driven.
