Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual. 

Position Summary:


Assists with the control and operations of the Center’s financial affairs and activities.  Analyzes and maintains a complete and accurate general ledger; prepares managerial and financial reports.

Responsibilities: 
 
  1. Preparation of standard journal entries and adjusting entries for monthly and year end closing
  2. Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
  3. Assist with annual audit preparation and work with third party auditors
  4. Assist with preparation of annual budget, reports for Grantee and government agencies and other miscellaneous projects
  5. Preparation of monthly contract/grant vouchers with supporting schedules
  6. Fixed asset processing and reporting
  7. Banking activities and cash management
  8. Preparation of semi-annual/annual closing reports for contracts/grants as well as other regulatory reports as needed
  9. Assist with/oversee Payroll and/or Accounts Payable

Qualifications: 
  1. Individual should possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience preferably in government or grant accounting
  2. Working knowledge and experience with PC based and automated accounting systems and electronic spreadsheets
  3. Analytical and problem solving skills
  4. Ability to prioritize, organize and manage time effectively
  5. Ability to manage detailed work and maintain confidentiality
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  7. Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  8. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
