Job Description

Here at PosiGen, we are seeking a Field Collections Agent who will be responsible for the follow:

  • Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will have a key role in delivering the best service to our customers
  • Deliver a consistent and professional level of service at all times
  • Achieve set revenue targets and objectives
  • Make field collection visits to customer's home in assigned region per tasks given
  • Advise and influence customers on the payment options for debt recovery
  • Handle each customer call promptly and in the correct manner, updating records accordingly
  • Take responsibility for resolving disputes, ensuring that caller concerns are actioned correctly, and all parties are notified
  • Explain how our lease program works, solar production and energy efficiency
  • Comfortable discussing solar production, reading customer utility bills, and how it translates to savings
  • Manage customers who are resistant to agent contact by remaining polite, tactful, honest and firm
  • Decide on the correct action when negotiating payments
  • Complete any administrative tasks as required for the efficient running of the department

Weekly Schedule: Mon - Sat (one day off during the week); M-F: 10a-7p; Sat: 9a-5p

Compensation: This role will be paid $16/hr base pay PLUS commission. On target earnings will range anywhere from ~$45k - $50k annually.

Education/Experience

  • Possess a High School diploma or GED
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is required
  • Must have a valid state license and clear driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service experience and skills are required
