KRNV/KRXI/KNSN in Reno, NV has an immediate opening for an energetic and creative Sports Producer/Multimedia Journalist! The ideal candidate will produce daily sportscasts and determine the content and flow of sports programs, works with the team to generate and write stories, and also develop content for the website. The candidate will also have opportunity to be on-air both on television and digital platforms.

Required Skills:

• Compelling and accurate story writer
• Ability to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative sportscast
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Sound sports news judgment
• Ability to work in team environment
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Required Experience:

• Television/radio talk show producing & scheduling a plus
• At least one year of shooting experience with technical knowledge of editing
• Experience in graphic design programs including Adobe Photoshop
• Journalism or Communications degree preferred
• Must be experienced in digital/social media publishing
• Experience with Avid and iNews
