Purpose of Position:

The communications Manager will handle internal and external communications within PAGNY, ensuring accuracy and timeliness execution of the communications strategies set forth by the Senior Director. In conjunction with the Senior Director, this position will support the internal and external development of communications including content creation/development for internal newsletters, the intranet, CEO communications, website and external press releases.

Research and develop content for internal communications including bi-weekly newsletter and monthly corporate wide news.

    Ensures message alignment across all internal and external channels, working collaboratively with hospital sites, physicians, human resources, etc.
  • Write compelling and engaging content for all stakeholders and communication vehicles.
  • Supports the Senior Director in media relations and external communications efforts including the development of messaging, press releases and website content.
  • Collaborate with Senior Director and Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Social Media on the creation of social media content including physician features, video scripts, health education, infographics, etc. to position our providers as experts.
  • Supports the Senior Director in media relations efforts and messaging.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Director, develop annual calendar of communications touch points to both internal and external audiences.
  • Visit hospital sites as needed for physician/employee interviews, video and photography sessions.
  • Bring innovative thinking and tactics to drive culture and colleague engagement strategies.
  • May perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in public relations, communications or marketing.
  2. Agency and B2B experience a plus.
  3. Minimum 5 years previous experience healthcare/physician group communications.
  4. Strong communications/writing skills. Writing samples required.
  5. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Sway, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
  6. High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  8. Must be able to prioritize a variety of time sensitive tasks. Consistently display the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
