Riverside Research's Applied Mathematics and Physics Solutions (AMPS) group is seeking a Computational Plasma Physicist. Our team performs experimental and computational research in a wide range of diverse topics in plasma physics. Current research interests include topics related to the Earth's ionosphere and magnetosphere, the mitigation of plasma sheaths around hypersonic vehicles, and the development of novel microstrip based plasma devices. The ideal candidate has a strong computational physics background involving plasma physics and electromagnetics and will help us expand the research program and provide modeling capability for our various research activities. The candidate will participate in work funded by Riverside's Independent Research and Development (IRAD) program, and work carried out under contract for the U.S. government customers. This is a full-time position in the Dayton, OH area, with alternate locations including Boston, MA or Champaign, IL.
