SOFTWARE & SOLUTION PROGRAM/PROJECT MANAGER

THE ROLE:

As a key member of the PSAS program management and infrastructure team you will be the architect of the system that is used to manage the release of key software and solutions for AECGs important products. You will lead diverse cross function teams that make the key decisions that determine the entire product solution and timelines for implementation.

THE PERSON:

The key person for this role will be organized, change agent for the team, excellent negotiation skills, overachiever, facilitator, and not afraid to ask the hard questions that will make themselves and this team better.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading large cross-functional teams in detailed project planning and execution. Driving/Managing the planning phase of the product lifecycle for product releases and supporting all phases of a release cycle. You will manage phase exit activities for Vivado, Vitis, VitisAI, System Software, next generation software, and solution planning
  • Through existing / new tools and efficient (automated) processes, you will drive the implementation of the project/program roadmaps. You will document the information shared with field teams to drive customer adoption. You drive the strategic direction of the tool and automation processes for tracking and reporting on state of the union for releases of all products.
  • Through process enhancements/efficiencies, you will be constantly looking for and driving improvements that will establish product/release schedules, enhance customer success and/or ease the workload for peer teams.
  • You will be the change agent that ensures that PSAS continues to evolve and address improvements in all areas of the team. Strategic owner of existing tools while determining next generation tools, maintaining process documents, and providing training on best practices/processes.
  • You will organize and chair regular Operational Reviews with management including creation of agendas and tracking of action items.
  • Manage/support Software and Solution Product Planning teams with differing scope through the chairing of key CFTs.
  • Experience with Jira a must.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Scripting experience in Python desired.
  • New product introduction engagements experience with large customers driving factory support to make customers successful

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • MINIMUM 5 years of program manager professional experience or equivalent engineering manager experience in high technology that covers end-to-end product lifecycle, including product definition, design, development, and delivery. Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong technical background in software and/or hardware development.
  • MINIMUM BSEE, BCS or equivalent science/engineering degree

LOCATION:

Longmont, Colorado area desired but willing to hire in other locations for the right candidate.

COMPENSATION RANGE & BENEFITS:

Expected to range from $101,570.00 to $145,100.00, commensurate with experience and specific skill sets. Benefits offered are described .
