Overview

Integral Federal is accepting applications for a Product Engineer IV located in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Product Engineer Level IV will support the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS) Product Manager, Program Executive Office Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors Program Management Office Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) with subject matter expertise on classified and unclassified PNT related technology.

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
    Provide subject matter and guidance for improvement of critical technology elements and technology readiness; provide system engineering advice and recommendations based on a comprehensive knowledge of the principles, policies, and pertinent laws; and regulatory requirements and procedures applicable to all PM PNT products and efforts.
  • Develop, review and maintain program level documentation supporting the engineering process.
  • Attend PM PNT program reviews (i.e. software specification review, system requirements review, system functional review, preliminary design review, critical design review, production readiness review, functional configuration audit, physical configuration audit; post award conferences), including pre- and post-review events; attend IPT and working group meetings and provide recommendations for engineering, testing, and other improvements.
  • Review and make recommendations on all required engineering and risk documentation; provide lessons learned; and assist in drafting PM PNT policy and procedures.
  • Develop, review and maintain PM PNT program level acquisition documentation such as: product data including product hardware or software configurations, performance specifications, interface control documentation, manufacturing processes, test procedures, commercial item descriptions, engineering change orders, technical proposals and data support for host platform applications of PNT products and technologies.
  • Identify, assess, update and provide program protection information for all PM PNT products, such as: critical program information (CPI), critical function analysis (CFA), identification of threats and vulnerabilities, PPP risk analyses, development of PPP countermeasures, development of the PPP, review and input to Critical Program Information, and provide support regarding development of Program Protection Mitigation Plans.
  • Perform Modeling and Simulation (M&S) on PM PNT products including: study planning, data collection/data updates, scenario definition and development, assumptions, M&S preparation (Input/Setup), test/verification runs, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) and prepare final reporting and briefings in support of PM PNT acquisition milestones.
  • Assist the Government in drafting Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), performance specifications, and associated solicitation documentation and provide technical advice and assistance regarding proposal evaluation.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical support including: responding to end-user questions, troubleshooting for PM PNT products and host platform technical installations, design reviews, and travel for on-site assistance and technology demonstrations.
  • Attend PM PNT program reviews (i.e. Software Specification Review (SPR), System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Production Readiness Review (PRR), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA)), including pre- and post-review events; attend IPT and working group meetings; and provide recommendations for engineering, testing, and other improvements.
  • Review and make recommendations on all required configuration management documentation, provide lessons learned, when applicable, assist in drafting PM PNT Configuration Management (CM) Policy and procedures, participate in CM working group meeting and provide support to CM implementation within PM PNT products.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering with 10 years' experience or a Master's degree with 8 years' experience in systems engineering for DoD systems.
  • Be familiar with GPS modeling, simulation, and analysis programs such as Panacea, Broadsim, and Spirent.
