The Senior Analyst of Reporting & Analytics role will help the Laurel Road brand continue along its growth journey by taking on critical analytical responsibilities and supporting the development of data/reporting/analytics with a new working partner. This position is responsible for daily/weekly/monthly recurring items in addition to ad hoc requests. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background who wishes to collaborate closely with the Pricing, Marketing, Operations, and Product functions.

Senior Analyst of Reporting & Analytics Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Dig into large datasets with a newly acquired partner and provide guidance / support on effective data management with an eye towards a larger, over-arching future-state
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting which will assist in decision support at various levels of management
Create appropriate QC processes to ensure proactive identification and swift resolution of data quality issues
Present key measurements and trends on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders / management
Prepare monthly results slides along with commentary on business / partner performance
Perform ad hoc analyses to identify insights and help shape business strategy
Continuously seek out ways to improve reporting/data visualizations (expanded drill-down/filter capabilities, streamlined views, innovative presentations, etc.)
Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
Senior Analyst of Reporting & Analytics Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High level of organization & attention to detail
Motivated self-starter with an intellectual curiosity and willingness to roll up sleeves
Experience with SAS - will need to generate new code along with reading / interpreting / updating existing code
Able to work with multiple large datasets of varying complexity / consistency; familiarity with Google BigQuery platform and Python language a plus
Proficiency with Salesforce (data management/structure, reporting, visualizations)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, LOOKUP functions, charts, tables, etc.)
Comfort with data visualization platforms including Tableau, Google Analytics, and Heap
Team player who can build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups and levels of leadership (including product, marketing, engineering, and analytics teams)
Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
Ability to present complex data and analytics to large and diverse audiences using concise language
Can-do attitude with an appetite for learning and taking on new challenges
Senior Analyst of Reporting & Analytics Experience/Education requirements
College degree / 2-5 years relevant experience
Location: Hybrid, Shelton, CT or NY, NY Broadway office 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 to $95,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
