POSITION SUMMARY:
This person is responsible for overall general control of inventories in the factory & outside storage locations, to include but not limited to, reconciling physical locations. Verifies daily production runs by reconciling finished, raw, packaging, and WIP inventories. Assigns locations for storing, transferring, requisitioning, and shipping of ingredients, packing materials and finished goods. Utilizes Warehouse Management System to track, locate and transfer finished goods and raw materials. Communicates regularly with associates from Planning and other functions regarding inventory status and availability. Assists in taking physical inventories and cycle counts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to the Supply Chain Manager; has ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:
Manage according to budget by ensuring accurate inventory and order selection, productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of space and equipment, and proper protection of stored materials and company assets.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Associates degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience. SAP experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* 1-2 years progressive experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment; experience in food processing highly preferred.
* Previous project or supervisory leadership responsibilities preferred.
* Firm understanding of manufacturing production and distribution processes
* Communication skills (strong verbal and written required)
* Troubleshooting / problem-solving (analytical) skills
* Interpersonal skills (ability to effectively work with all levels from hourly to management).
* Time management and multi-tasking skills
* MS office capabilities
