YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Shipping/ Receiving Clerk, are to:
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, peers, management, andvendors;
- Follow shipping and/or receiving practices, procedures, andtransportation routing;
- Timely communication of any shipment delays to supervisor and/orconcerned parties according to procedure;
- Ensure timely booking requests are performed for daily shipments;
- Generate all shipping and/or receiving documents needed forinternational and domestic orders, and order creation;
- Understand and enforce all quality management systems (QMS) procedures, protocols, and safe practices;
- Exhibits understanding of internal procedures/protocols and support;
- Compliance with legal requirements applicable to assigned areaactivities;
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to Bayer's Health, Safety,Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)standards;
- Execute intermediate to advanced activities in Bayer systems (SAP andelectronic networks), commonly used in production processes;
- Perform intermediate to advanced computer/Microsoft Suite program skills;
- Positive attitude, team player and willingness to collaborate across alldepartments and business units;
- Support areas across the plant in driving the adoption of continuousimprovement practices and programs (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) conducive to anorganized and clean work environment;
- Utilize 1PSS techniques to initiate process and standard workimprovements;
- Participate and prepare to lead Daily Direction Settings (DDS) meetingsas needed.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED);
- Full understanding of HSE programs;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word;
- Ability to read and interpret documents;
- Ability to do basic math calculations;
- Flexibility to work overtime, as needed;
- Ability to train new employees in the role of clerk and its activities.
- Positive image of company position in regard to order processing;
- Ability to communicate with other entities (English language required,speak and write);
Preferred Qualifications:
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $18.21 to $27.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
