Milwaukee area office/manufacturing buildings. Manage project work, do basic repairs and preventative maintenance. some janitorial / sanitation duties, landscape upkeep includes lawn care and weeding, walkway snow removal and salting.
Work with vendors/contractors and management on major projects, etc.
Manage office related moves such as dismantling and assembly of office partitions, furniture, etc.
Manage temporary staff.
Purchase equipment, fixtures, materials and supplies.
Must have and maintain valid driver’s license, insurable under company policy. Able to drive cargo van.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience in facility maintenance including mechanical, electrical and pluming and HVAC/refrigeration equipment maintenance, related mechanical trades training a plus. Licensing and/or certifications a plus.
Understand hydraulics, pneumatics, and building maintenance equipment and machines.
Can learn / familiar with programming or editing of programmable logic controllers (PLC), or similar devices and systems
Skilled using hand and power tools.
Indoor and outdoor work. Occasional roof area work to change RTU filters, and assist roof and other vendors.
Able to read and write instructions and readily understand oral and written instructions, and to communicate clearly with employees, management, contractors and vendors. Can add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percent, discounts, etc.
Computer proficient - can find suppliers or vendors and make purchases or schedule work. Use e-mail, text, open documents, work with spreadsheets, track job time.
Lift up to 50 pounds, walking, climb stairs, sometimes ladders, use portable scaffolds.
