This Research Data Manager will be responsible for:
Directing data flow for studies supported by the Clinical Research Program
Collaborating with Project Directors and Principal Investigators on the design, development, implementation, and validation of modest databases
Establishing and following procedures for effectively entering, cleaning and managing data
Developing and maintaining data record filing system
Providing data management support to study staff, including senior data managers
Assisting research biostatisticians with analysis file creation and statistical analyses
Supporting clinical research reporting for data review, quality control checks, and interim and final analysis
Designing developing, and validating databases using application software suitable for supporting clinical research investigations
Providing educational support and training to investigators and study staff for the development and implementation of research studies
Participating in teaching CRP data management courses to Hospital employees
Providing project and data management support for CRP studies
Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations
Ensuring work in the CRP is performed in conformance with established hospital, program, federal, and state policies and procedures
In order to qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in health science, mathematics or related
2 years of data entry and data coordinator experience
Analytical skills to handle clinical research data in an organized, accurate and timely manner
Strong working knowledge and experience with data management and statistical software e.g. SAS, SPSS, relational data management, web based EDC
Critical attention to detail and accuracy
