Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Biostatistics is seeking a Database Designer to support MGH Biostatistics data coordinating center (DCC) activities, including multisite observational studies and randomized trials. The Database Designer will assist the existing study team(s) develop and maintain multiple complex REDCap-based studies. This will include adding new functionalities requested by study leadership and clinical investigators, collaborating with external groups to understand what is needed in electronic data capture solutions implementation, and writing comprehensive documentation.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of REDCap or similar electronic data capture systems, experience with complex projects (including modifying existing solutions without compromising already entered data), excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, flexibility, and the ability to work as a part of a team.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology - Database Design, Applied Math, Computational Science, Health Informatics, Engineering or related technical field.
