SOC Architect

THE ROLE:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving System and Silicon architecture including the architecture of Systems, SoCs, IOs, Interconnect, memory, and Peripherals. You will analyze and develop novel architecture solutions, write specifications, and work with customers, planning, architecture, and design & verification teams.

THE PERSON:

AMD-AECG Architecture team is looking for an experienced, passionate, driven to innovate SoC Architect for the development of next-gen of Adaptive SoCs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strong foundation in heterogenous systems architecture & integration
• Strong foundation in high performance systems and SoCs
• Strong analytical problem solving, and attention to details
• Experience in chiplets (multi-die) integration and packaging technologies
• Analyze system and SoC tradeoffs and define architectural requirements
• Work with customers, and cross-functional teams to scope requirements
• Define architecture specifications in a clear and concise language
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as C, SystemC, Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of heterogenous SoC, Processors, FPGA, and ML/AI accelerators
• Knowledge of packaging and 2.5/3D integration technologies
• Knowledge of machine learning, automotive, and data-center acceleration applications
• Knowledge of boot, security, and RAS architectures

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BS, MS, PhD (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related equivalent)
