POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain & Operations, the Jr. Inventory Analyst is responsible for the preparation and processing of repair and purchase orders to support Company supply chain operations and requirements. This position supports Company increased asset utilization and inventory optimization objectives. The Jr. Inventory Analyst targets timely asset availability by coordinating efforts with repair vendors and suppliers ensuring minimal repair cycle times and purchasing lead times. These activities promote strong, long-term vendor and customer relationships while contributing to improved financial performance.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Issue, coordinate and expedite repairs with suppliers to meet required scheduled delivery dates for customers.  
Coordinate with operations staff or other personnel to access requirements and deadlines for repair schedules.  
Respond to follow up on supplier correspondence, quotes and other repair issues that may arise.  
Assist in resolving invoicing and quality-related issues involving repair orders. 
Maintains database for the purpose of analyzing existing inventory levels versus the forecasted demand. Ensures appropriate levels of sub-components are available to support gear assembly line. 
Based on planned forecast and available inventory, is responsible for sourcing "as removed" and/or "serviceable" material in lieu of new inventory by coordinating internally and externally to procure parts in the aftermarket. 
May collect, separate, document and arrange for disposition of damaged, obsolete inventory. 
Utilize Excel to import and export data from text files, saved queries, or databases; use automatic outlining, insert subtotals, create advanced filters, and utilize database functions to manage rotable inventory; create pivot tables and charts using worksheet data and external resources, modify pivot tables, sort items and group data; format spreadsheets and workbooks for print, document reproduction, and presentations. 
Purchase cores and units for our exchange pool, run part numbers on ILS.
Locate suppliers, using sources such as the internet, and gather information about offerings for evaluation by other team members. 
Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
 
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school): Preferred
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Preferred
 
Experience:
0-2 plus years of experience in related field.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (knowledgeable in MS Excel). 
 
     
 
Other Requirements: Minimum (1) year experience in a manufacturing or service environment.
