Job Description
Responsibilities

Sabre is currently recruiting for exciting positions in Cyber supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group located at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Southern, MD. These positions will support NAWCAD to rapidly research, develop, mature, procure, integrate, test, evaluate, train, support, and sustain cyber resilient and full spectrum cyber warfighting capabilities for platforms, weapons, sensors, communications and networks, computing systems, mission systems, support equipment, logistics and maintenance systems, and ashore and afloat enterprise systems. This position is contingent upon award of the contract.

Program Overview: Sabre is specifically recruiting talent to support Cyber Warfare Department (CWD), a department within the DAiTA Group, in partnership and coordination with other DAiTA Group activities provides a broad array of cyber related capabilities including, but not limited to, research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) of cyber warfare development and test tool sets, multi-level security solutions, offensive and defensive tools and capabilities, support of Autonomous Defensive Cyber Operations (ADCO), Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), Cyber Warfare Engineering, Systems Network and Data Link Engineering, Cyber Intelligence and Communications Engineering and Analysis, Cyber Risk Assessments, CYBERSAFE/Airworthiness, Vulnerability Analysis, Red Team/Blue Team Testing, Systems Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper (AT), and Cyber related training.


Qualifications

Candidates must have experience directly related to the specific duties of the position. Specialized experience areas include, but are not limited to:

  • 10 years of experience performing work related to functional description:
    • Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems; and to employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems and when appropriate, conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field.
    • Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. May supervise the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
  • Specialized Experience: At least (3) three years of the experience directly related to airborne systems.
  • Specialized Experience: Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise is required.
  • In addition to the duties above, this position also acts as the functional team lead for teams performing the above functions. This includes coordinating and overseeing the tasking of other team members, tracking project progress, and participating in planning of projects, resourcing, and events.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • Must be able to pass background investigation
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship

Educational Requirement:

Specialized Degree Requirements: Position requires a MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Allowable Substitution: A BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline and total of fourteen (14) years of experience may be substituted for a MS or MA degree, which is four (4) years of experience in addition to the required minimum of ten (10) years to meet the "experience" requirements.
