We are currently seeking full time Transportation Design Engineers to join our Design Services team.

Full-time Transportation Design Engineer positions available in our Milwaukee, Portage, and Johnson Creek offices. Benefits of the position include:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three to five years experience in Transportation Infrastructure Design
• Certified Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required
• One to two years of experience in drainage, urban, and rural design following Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Facilities Development Manual (FDM)
• Experience using Civil3D software
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drainage design and reporting for a variety of projects
• Analysis of survey data, maps, aerial photography, topographic and geological data
• Horizontal and vertical geometric design
• Super-elevation and vertical clearance calculations
• Cross section development
• Grading, signing and marking, and right of way plats
• Quantity calculations and construction cost estimates
• Contribute as a member of one or more project delivery teams
• Ensure quality of work by following established quality plans and guidelines
• Participate in effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks with other project participants, clients, and regulating authorities
• Function as a member of a division or projects team
• Maintain and advance professional and technical knowledge and skills

PAY
Based on qualifications and experience with hourly rates starting at $33.00 per hour.
