ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for Orthodontist Interns to join our technology-driven team! As an intern, you will lead patient visits in the clinic while receiving consistent mentorship from an experienced Orthodontist who will support you in case review, patient management, and treatment plan reviews. You will be part of our larger doctor team that collaborates on planning complicated cases, celebrating treatment successes, and providing input on new treatment planning protocols, systems, and technology.

You will graduate from this internship with greater experience in applying clear aligner therapy to an adult population, the technology and biomechanics behind planning clear aligner therapy, and clinical protocols and processes that make treatment more delightful for patients. Through regular coffee connections with company leaders, you will also gain insight into all aspects of running a modern orthodontic company - from marketing and sales to clinic operations, treatment planning, manufacturing, and virtual patient support.

HOW YOU'LL HAVE AN IMPACT:

  • Serve patients in our Chicago practices and lead in providing exceptional clinical care alongside our high-performing clinic teams
  • Diagnose, educate and plan care for your patients. Complete exceptional treatment with patients
  • Collaborate with the clinical doctor team to continuously innovate on treatment modalities

AT THE END OF THIS INTERNSHIP YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Expanded your orthodontic knowledge via regular mentorship from senior orthodontists

MUST HAVES:

  • Dental degree from an accredited university, DDS/DMD
  • In the final year of an accredited orthodontic program
  • Flexibility in schedule to be in clinic two days per week, and can commit to a minimum of two semesters of participation
  • State Dental Board License
  • DEA, CPR certificates
  • Malpractice insurance
