Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Biller that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

- Prepare and submit paper claims for all insurances.
- Submit claims for Wraparound patients on synthesis portal.
- Responsible for processing all medical record/patient statement balance requests for Legal/Attorneys.
- Work open balances and allocate to guarantor accounts.
- Process patient portal payments.
- Process refunds, patient and insurance/third party carriers.
- Maintain good customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
- Two to five years experience working in a medical billing or insurance claims processing position.
- Knowledge of medical coverage types, CPT, HPSA, and ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes.
- Knowledgeable of compliance changes such as HIPAA, code updates, diagnosis updates and other regulatory statutes.
- Current working knowledge of CPT, CDT and ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Working knowledge of PCs, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize, list and tabulate data.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to relate to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
