Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Clinical Provider Coordinator that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Process and assist all Providers (Medical, Behavioral Health, Dental, PT/OT, Pharmacy, and some specialists) in the completion of all initial, re-appointment, and off-cycle applications for SSCHC privileges.  Abide by all SSCHC policies and procedures, which are based on HRSA and Joint Commission standards. 
  2. Process and assist all Providers in the completion of initial, re-appointment, and off-cycle applications for hospital credentialing and privileging.  Includes but is not limited to supplying hospitals with required all information to complete the Provider application process.
  3. Prepare and maintain reports and summaries of credentialing activities such as accreditation, membership, or facility privileges.
  4. Prepare and assist in credentialing & privileging audits for HRSA, Joint Commission, and 340B.
  5. Ensure that all information meets federal and state guidelines when processing applications.
  6. Work in collaboration with Providers and the Offices of the VP of Medical Affairs and VP of Behavioral Health to assist Providers with maintenance of various required certifications, for example, licenses, Board certification, BLS certification, etc., as required for credentialing and privileging.  Includes but is not limited to the tracking of expiration dates and providing regular reminders to Providers and their immediate supervisors of certifications that need to be renewed.
  7. Submit complete credentialing materials to the VP of Medical Affairs and VP of Human Resources for approval.  Flag any concerns for initial appointment and reappointment applications.
  8. Create professional liability letters for all SSCHC Providers covered under the Federal Tort and Claims Act (FTCA) annually.
  9. Maintain up-to-date provider database utilizing credentialing software, including but not limited to provider licenses, BLS, employee health documents, FTCA/professional liability insurance, hospital appointments and payor enrollments, and renewal period expiration dates.
  10. Work with Human Resources to track and maintain provider records for privileging requirements which include but are not limited to Fitness for Duty, immunization records, and contractable infectious diseases.
  11. Maintain all provider credentialing/privileging forms and applications including those located in the credentialing software.
  12. Develop and maintain a departmental dashboard that monitors and tracks metrics.
  13. Work closely with various departments to supply Provider information that may be required for SSCHC functions.
 
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to pay close attention to details.
  3. Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  4. Strong organizational skills.
  5. Working knowledge of computers and office applications software.
