We are currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Recruiting to join our team. In this leadership role, you will manage a team responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies for various position levels across the US, Canada and the UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a recruiting team, prioritizing organizational needs, developing and managing metrics, and providing leadership to think outside the box and get creative on recruiting strategies. Must have a servant-leader mentality and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to meet the demanding needs of our growing company. This role will be a hybrid position, reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources.

What you will do:

  • Lead a team of recruiters who develop and execute recruiting strategies for all levels from internship and entry level to leadership positions.
  • Coach and develop the recruiting team to build their skills and enhance their knowledge on tools and trends within recruiting
  • Lead operational processes within recruiting to ensure there is a seamless flow, strong focus on customer service, compliance with local, state and federal hiring practices, and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for designated customer groups
  • Leverage available tools and technology, seeking opportunities to simplify, automate, and create efficiencies were needed
  • Refine and evolve the hiring process through collaboration with leadership
  • Lead recruiting projects and initiatives; engage in self-directed work, create and maintain timelines for projects, identify recruiting team members to support projects, and manage to project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies by identifying emerging market trends and evaluating and understanding on-going business needs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance employer brand on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Develop and analyze recruiting metrics to ensure team is meeting or exceeding goals
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting to leadership on recruiting successes, challenges, strategic plans and recommendations.
  • Partner with other HR team members to assess and refine employee on-boarding programs

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

  • 8+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience (various levels and multi-location)
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a recruiting team
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques, as well as federal and state laws regarding hiring practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Strong ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Experience using various applicant tracking systems (Oracle Taleo experience is preferred)
  • Experience managing 3rd party recruiting agency relationships
  • Experience recruiting in the construction or engineering industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
