Job Summary:

The Senior Portfolio Manager - Real Estate will manage the leased and owned real estate portfolio and supervise third party construction and property management/lease administration services; duties will also include assistance with office leases and acquisitions and dispositions of real property.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Third party consultants (brokers + property managers), No employees
  • Interviews and approves hiring of 3rd party nested contractors
  • Oversees the daily work of 3rd party nested contractors

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee the property management function of corporate owned non-manufacturing sites - including daily operations, budget/operating expense management, and remediation work (in coordination with corporate HSE department). Manage contract database for all corporate real property including easements, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and third party service contracts. Supervise nested contractors performing property management duties at sites held for disposition and acquired for future development. Lead project management (with corporate engineering) of leased office construction programs. Assist the Senior Director - Real Estate and Office Facilities with leasing and purchase/disposition contracts and negotiations. Maintain corporate procedures for property management, acquisition/disposition, and leasing functions.

  • Time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Knowledgeable of commercial leases/real estate contracts and industry terminology.
  • Experienced in managing leased office construction projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with both corporate team members and outside parties.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

College degree in business, real estate salesperson/broker license preferred.

At least five years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to walk and investigate properties as needed (vacant land, offices, development sites, etc.).
