Essential Functions and Duties:
- Carry out instructions and directives given by Healthcare Technician 3 and 4.
- Accountable for the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness for tasks and directives that have been provided.
- Assemble and install small-medium low voltage systems.
- Coordinate with various team members and management to ensure smooth workflow.
- Troubleshoot basic low voltage systems, be able to identify and resolve minor problems with ease.
- Ensure materials are available, inventoried, and secure at job sites.
- Communicate effectively to assist Healthcare Technician 3 and 4 to produce accurate redlines/field mark-ups.
- Report directly to Healthcare Technician 3 and 4.
Position Specifications:
Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of hand tools, test/setup equipment and company machinery.
- Demonstrate ability to train, mentor, and develop subordinates.
- Some knowledge of electrical circuitry and network principles.
- Comprehend and understand technical drawings along with programming and installation manuals.
- Some knowledge of various low voltage electrical systems along with past work experience.
Abilities:
- Arrive for work as directed in a prompt and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members and management.
- Some computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Function as a mentor to Healthcare Technician 1.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.
- Meet performance standards and expectations provided by Healthcare Technician 3 and 4.
- Maintain professionalism and composure through high stress situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work from heights.
- Must be able to work in the elements.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work night and weekend shifts as requested.
- Must be vaccinated for Covid-19.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience working with low voltage systems.
Experience working in/with Healthcare, Nurse Call, Rauland Systems is a plus.
