Job Description

Description

SRG Global is seeking an Advanced Quality Gauge Technician based out of our Advanced Development Center (ADC) in Taylor, MI (greater Detroit area). The selected individual will create value by collecting, analyzing data, and sharing dimensional reports from plastic injection molding, plating, painting, and assembly trials through internal Issue Tracking System (ITS) Dimensional Software Module. What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Identify, document, and communicate/escalate issues with gauge performance and/or repeatability to the program gauge engineer
  • Support molding process engineer with dimensional data during mold runs in Taylor
  • Support dimensional capability analysis for assembly process or customer build parts
  • Complete statistical analysis to support mold/process buy-off
The Experience You Will BringRequirements:

  • 1 (one) or more years' experience in gauging and/or measuring parts or other industrials items/equipment
  • High School diploma, GED or higher
  • MS Word and Excel experience
What Will Put You Ahead

  • Technical degree or higher
  • Automotive gauging experience
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts such as dimensional capability (Cpk, Ppk, Cp) and/or Gauge repeatability & reproducibility (R&R)
  • Dimensional software such as SPC and/or Minitab
