As the Audit Growth, Senior Manager (Navy/USMC Account) for Ignite Digital Services you will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer, contributing to the growth and development of the Audit practice. You'll lead and grow a team of innovative practitioners to solve complex enterprise business issues from strategy to execution; creating content and messaging for pursuits; deploying resources to support project delivery and new pursuits; and collecting and sharing competitive intelligence to inform pursuit tactics and win new audit business for the company. This position operated in a hybrid-work setting in the Arlington, VA area/ National Capital Region.

As required by applicable federal law, rule, regulation, and/or mandate or otherwise, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.

Candidates must possess an active Secret (or higher) DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Navy/USMC Audit account growth to achieve company objectives
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence from a variety of sources to identify key marketplace trends to shape pursuit tactics and messaging
  • Foster strategic communications for integrated coordination of Navy / USMC enterprise stakeholders
  • Collaborate with professional organizations and teaming partners to cultivate new and existing relationships; deliver thought leadership and other marketing assets to develop relationships with current and target buyers/influencers
  • Apply federal accounting, financial management, and audit knowledge/expertise when assisting with development of solutions and providing recommendations to clients
  • Provide subject matter technical expertise in financial reporting, audit remediation planning, and financial statement compilation
  • Provide strategic advice and coordination to operationalize audit remediation strategy, including auditability goals, budgetary reform efforts, systems consolidation, data transformation, and workforce initiatives
  • Coaching and mentoring Atlas staff, and developing learning and development materials, courses, and presentations to help Atlas employees expand and strengthen their functional skills

Qualifications

  • Four (4) year degree in accounting or business management related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive, relevant experience, including six (6) years of experience leading financial management services and related projects.
  • Maintain a professional certification - CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.
  • Understanding of GAS, GAAP, SFAS, audit procedures, audit cycle, and financial analysis techniques, as they apply to DoD financial statements and assessable units
  • Demonstrated experience with business and relationship development, and ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients and business teaming partners
  • Self-starter, takes the initiative to deliver quality work products to the client with little direction from supervisor
  • Demonstrated ability to create and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Strategic and creative thinker with strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
