About the team
The Alexa Games Domain mission is to make gaming better with Alexa and to make Alexa an indispensable part of players' gaming lives. We work on Alexa devices, gaming devices, and with gaming companies to bring great gaming experiences to Alexa customers.
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $151,200 - 204,600[yr]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. - Quantifying business opportunities by continually assessing the needs of the customer, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Thinking deeply about the needs of game developers.
- Partnering with other internal teams to identify new gaming features/mechanics and create prototypes/proof of concepts.
- Creating and managing product roadmaps, prioritization, and constraints to ensure consistent execution of the product lifecycle process from concept to post-launch enhancements.
- Defining product and customer experiences with high quality business requirements and user stories and manage scope of each product launch to deliver on time and on budge
- Making hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market
- Ensuring clear communication and coordination across business, design and engineering teams to manage the scope of each product launch for on time, on budget delivery of key features
- Creating and closing the feedback loop for key stakeholders and customers for your features and games

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- 6+ years of experience driving product innovation on nascent technology platforms in the gaming or entertainment industries
- 8+ years of experience managing software and/or hardware development projects and working with development teams
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience, including doing demos
- Experience leading cross functional programs across many functions that includes interactions with senior leaders
- Experience working successfully to build products with remote team members
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
- Direct responsibility for designing, developing, and shipping video games.
- Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering a world-class customer experience.
- Agile project management experience.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision.
- Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; comfort responding quickly to rapidly evolving threats and opportunities.
- Demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness, including strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence as well as direct management; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing process improvements.
- Proven experience leading cross-organizational programs and ability to set and hold teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority.
- Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge.
- Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
