Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Supply Chain Optimization Group, the ASU Zone QMS Manager will coordinate ASU bulk production quality management performance reporting processes and oversee operational best practice compliance to meet the QMS objectives through best practice reporting, auditing, and training. This will allow the production field managers to focus on production planning and execution, plant maintenance and reliability, and production KPIs and continuous improvement.
ASU Administrative Reporting Coordination:
The primary purpose of this responsibility it to assist the field managers with administrative expertise to coordinate and complete the various reporting requirements in Bulk ASU Production for the assigned zone.
Actively identify and eliminate waste and non-value add work in the reporting workflows.
Coordination of Production Performance (Monthly Production Plans, Monthly Production Reporting, Quarterly Performance Reviews)
Coordinate daily reports (Production data entries in MPDE, Tool Box Talk (TBT) Completion, Accident / Incident, Insurance, CARs, DIRs, Onbase, etc.)
Coordinate weekly reports (Deviations requests, Non-Conformance reports, and MOCs)
Coordinate monthly reports (Safety Stats Input, AP to GL Review, BKP Financials, F9, MAPS Desk Top Audits, LearnShare 5s, MasterControl,)
Coordinate quarterly reports (Local Quality Performance Reviews (QPR), Dept Quality Management Review (QMR), Capital Expenditure coding, Small Business Reports, Regional Safety Committee Meeting, Site Security Plan)
Becomes familiar with Department reports and supports timely and accurate submissions by field managers.
Coordination of other ad hock governance, risk and compliance reports for SHE, Quality, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, HR, Customers, and Corporate.
ASU QMS Compliance Auditing, Training and Oversight:
The primary purpose of this responsibility is to assist the field managers with expertise for the various compliance requirements to improve manager retention, drive standardization, and improve compliance performance.
Filing System and Document Retention (Dept, SHEQ, FDA, ISO, FSSC, HR, Legal, Accounting, etc.)
Timely Completion of Onboarding Training Master
SHE Policies and Procedures
Human Resources Policies and Procedures
Departmental Standards, Policies, Procedures, Systems, and Applications.
Food Safety Management System (FSMS, FSSC-22000)
International Standards Organization (ISO, Continual Dynamics, etc.)
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Training (VOL 40)
MasterControl (Organizer, workflow, revision, collaboration, formatting, etc.)
LearnShare (Environmental, Safety, Quality, etc.)
MAPS audits and follow-up corrective actions.
CAR Systems (A-CAR, I-CAR, N-CAR, S-CAR, Non-Conformance Logs, etc.)
Risk Assessments and MOC (Engineering, SHE, FDA, Food Safety, etc.)

Skills, Qualifications, and Special Requirements:
Safety and Quality Focus.
Must have ability to effectively manage a team.
Ability to effectively communicate through excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as with others.
Demonstrate critical thinking capability to troubleshoot production supply chain issues.
Proficient in organizational skills.Plan, organize, and coordinate work.Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and multi-task.
Analytical and systematic problem solving and attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with industrial O&M business activity and familiar with process equipment including compressors, pumps, motors, turbines, heat exchangers and valves.
Ability to read process and equipment drawings including PFDs, P&IDs, Electrical Schematics and Equipment Diagrams.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Visio
Work Environmental & Physical Demands:
The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule and up to 50% travel. Typical hours will vary to meet the supply chain needs for this 24/7 production operation; however, normal staffing hours are expected to be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional work hours may include weekends and/or holidays.
Role will be performed in office environments as well as in industrial field environments.May also be required to work from a home location, which must be conducive to performing the role and duties, including virtual/video meetings.
While performing duties of this job it would occasionally be required to:
Be exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (e.g. operating plant).
Be exposed to outside weather conditions (e.g. cold box valves, filling trailers).
Be exposed to high, precarious places (e.g. cold box, repair work)
Be exposed to high noise levels (e.g. Plant rounds, maintenance)
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma required
Additional preferred requirements include an applicable technical degree, or 5 years' production management experience, or 10 years' operation, maintenance, or instrumentation experience in ASU production or similar industrial manufacturing field.
Industry related vocational certifications considered.
