Job Summary
Performs laboratory tests; interprets test results; documents and reports test results; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools.Associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. ASCP or AMT certification required. Certification eligible applicants with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) may be considered with proof of eligibility prior to date of employment. Certification for eligible employees shall be acquired within one year from date of hire. Certification must remain current for continued employment.
