Travel Trainer-Technical Specialist - FloridaAlfred Benesch & Company (Benesch) is looking to hire a part-time Travel Trainer for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus services. The primary purpose of the Travel Trainer is to teach older adults and people with disabilities to travel safely and independently within Pinellas County by using pedestrian skills and public transportation, and to record observations and give feedback to the travel training project manager. Travel training sessions will be conducted one-on-one or in small groups.
The Impact You Will Have:Travel Trainers will have to undergo one day of field training (paid) before working with travel trainees.
This is an hourly, on-call position and does not include benefits. Travel Trainers must be available during standard work hours and be flexible to meet the availability of trainees. Travel Trainers will be given a cell phone and an email address to communicate with Benesch staff, PSTA staff, and trainees, and will be provided with the resources to print and copy any documents and materials related to the nature of the position.
