Primary Responsibilities

Seeking an Interior Design Coordinator to join our Philadelphia Office. We're looking for someone who is a team-oriented, ready to jump in, explore, learn and support our multidisciplinary team.

In the role of Interior Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist Senior Interior Designers with evaluations, selections, and applications for interior design concepts
  • Work under broad, general supervision
  • Require basic knowledge of programming and functional analysis as well as knowledge of space planning principles
  • Apply design principles in development and preparation of presentation drawings
  • Interpret plans and specifications, and knowledge of interior code requirements, construction administration procedures, and electrical/HVAC systems
  • Demonstrate experience in selecting interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and detailing
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
  • Would prefer 1+ years experience, but will consider more junior candidates with interest in pursuing design of complex project types such as Healthcare, Education, Science and Technology.
  • Knowledge or experience in commercial and corporate architectural interiors projects
  • Knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain NCIDQ registration
