Job Description

Senior Help Desk Specialist

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting a Senior Help Desk Specialist with 10+ years' experience to support a contract held by LinTech Global Inc. at the US EPA Region 1 Office in Boston, MA.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Hardware support and troubleshooting -- desktop equipment (includes but not limited to computers, laptops, monitors and peripheral local devices, etc.). Network connectivity from office connection to device - computers, laptops, printers, multi-function devices, telephones (See attachment for further clarification of responsibilities.), video teleconferencing equipment (See attachment for further clarification of responsibilities), etc.

2. Laptop and Tablet Support - Image, troubleshoot and repair user laptops, assist with distribution and setups and provide one-on-one support with customer.

3. Software support and troubleshooting- Will include but is not limited to, correct installation, ad hoc training, configuration of software on the device, connectivity to the host as applicable and, client support pertaining to Microsoft Officer 365.

4. Creation and management and dissemination of agency guest WIFI accounts.

5. Manage loaner equipment (Aircards, laptops, projectors, Skype devices, etc.)

6. LAN Account Management.

7. Provide support for user account management such as legacy Lotus Notes applications.

8. File Management.

9. Remote access support.

10. Provide support for troubleshooting remote access issues with GFE and limited support with personal equipment.

11. Printing support including multi-functional devices, scanners and single function printers and large format printers and plotters.

12. Work with EPA staff to provide Logical Access Control System (LACS) exemptions through the appropriate EPA tool and following the appropriate EPA policy for employees without Smart Card access.

13. Maintain a user information center / Service Desk to address issues such as hardware, software, communications, applications and program questions.

14. Manage, and distribute consumables in support of information processing activities.

15. Provide scanning and document conversion support.

16. Provide assistance to the ISO during any security related instances.

17. Plan, document and provide for Contracting Officer Representative -

(COR) approval the contractors plan to improve Service Desk services and customer satisfaction.

18. Ensure employee attribute data is properly maintained in appropriate regional database.

19. Review and report impact of new applications and hardware.

20. Review or prepare implementation plans to ensure system resources are available to support these applications and hardware and that they are compatible with EPA systems.

21. Provide Information Technology recommendations for upgrades.

22. Experience managing large scale hardware and software deployment projects and technical teams.

23. Oversee ticket queues in ServiceNow to maintain SLAs

24. Delegate and manage tasks
